It all started when Anna and Alexandre, a couple from São Paulo, were traveling along the Route of Emotions. On their way to Lençóis Maranhenses, they stopped in Atins. The village soon proved to be a special destination. They were enchanted by the charm and simplicity of the place in a unique setting between the river and the sea. The welcome from the local people was also remarkable. The dream of the pousada arose from the couple’s desire to share with friends and guests the same joy they felt when they visited this beautiful destination in Brazil.

The initial project envisaged a family business, like a beach house. And so Atins Charme Chalés was born. With the positive feedback from guests, the Atins Charme family grew and new properties were added to the group, each bringing its own essence, but maintaining the commitment to the charm standard of quality.

Today, the group includes three pousadas, a beach bar, three restaurants and memorable experiences in the Lençóis Maranhenses.

The expansion of operations has also contributed to the development of Atins, a source of great pride for the team involved. Currently, Charme Atins generates more than 100 direct jobs.
