Italian cuisine with a Maranhão soul

At Nonna Marta, the Italian table is, above all, a gesture of affection. The pasta is handmade daily, the sauces slow-cook, and every dish arrives with the generosity of a Sunday family lunch. The kitchen follows the tradition of classic trattorias while conversing with the land it calls home: Maranhão reveals itself in batipuru and pink mango risottos, regional shrimp, and cassava mousseline with local cheese. A warm, unpretentious atmosphere crafted for long conversations and unhurried meals.

Our pasta is fatto a mano, such as the Carbonara Nonna Marta—ravioli stuffed with free-range egg yolk cream and guanciale—and the Lasagnini da Nonna, served just like on family Sundays. To finish, enjoy our house tiramisu and gelatos artigianale, paired with signature cocktails featuring tiquira, cupuaçu, and hibiscus (vinagreira).
